Christmas market at London's Southbank
23 November 2011
The Christmas market at London's Southbank goes from the London Eye to just before the national Theatre. The market is a short walk from Waterloo Station (railway / underground) or across the bridge from Westminster underground station.
It is a mix of different styles although prominently traditional English and German stalls.
There is a traditional carousel ride which is the only ride at the Market.
There are a number of food stalls in the market as well as the usual restaurants at the Southbank and in County Hall.
As well as the Christmas Market the London Eye was running and there is an Ice Rink next to the Eye.
